| Command Line Download Unattended Command Line Download Unattended HTTP Command Line Download Download is a Command-Line Unattended Download Tool Download Files with No User Prompts Download Without User Prompts Automatically Transfer Files to Your Computer Download is one of our Internet applications that serves the whole enterprise. Download is one of our one-of-a-kind Internet tools to download files unattanted or just from a command line support. This is designed to be totally automatic. Download works well in batch (.bat) files or you can call it from your own software. You should have three parts to your command line part 1 is the path to the actual executable. So we copy our executable to the c:\exe folder. Part 2 is the URL you with the path that you need to download. One of the files that we use is http://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/tar/RFC-all.zip.Keep in mind this must be a valid URL. There are some places mostly with UNIX servers that have case sensitive names. In our example, this is case sensitive. So RFC-all.zip works, but rfc-all.zip does not! Part 3 is the download location on your computer. We like to download everything to c:\download, and then move it from there. So our first example put together is: c:\exe\download1.exe http://ftp.rfc-editor.org/in-notes/tar/RFC-all.zipC:\download If you enter a URL on the command line but not a download path, the Window will open and you can still enter it and click the Download button. If you want to see the help file for download, just type the command line without anything else, and the window will open.
